PIONEER Warranty

Pioneer Warranty is Sri Lanka’s first association based guarantee system exclusively offered by the members of the Vehicle Importers Association of Sri Lanka (VIASL).

In a groundbreaking attempt to redefine the standards of vehicle importation trade in Sri Lanka, Pioneer Warranty was introduced in 2007 re-assuring the high quality and reliability of the imported vehicles to the consumers.

  • Vehicle servicing functions from a reputed vehicle servicing service provider, who is nominated by Pioneer Vehicle Importers Association of Lanka
  • After-Sales care for your vehicle

Terms and Conditions:

The warranty covers the engine, gear box and Hybrid Battery of the newly-purchased vehicle for period of two years or up to 100,000km from the meter reading of the vehicle as at the purchasing date.

  • The Pioneer Warranty covers major technical defects of power train system and Hybrid Battery of the vehicle.
  • The Warranty will not cover the following items in the engine and transmission;
    • Engine: Oil Seals, Injector Nozzles, Rubber and Plastic Parts, Filters, Lubricants, Antifreeze Fluid and Other Oils
    • Transmission: All Rubber and Plastic Part and Lubricants
  • The Warranty Coverage Obligation is limited to repair or replacement of parts acknowledged to be defective by us or our authorized service centre.
  • Customer privileges to enjoy vehicle servicing functions from a reputed vehicle servicing service provider, who is nominated by Pioneer Vehicle Importers Association of Lanka and after selling regular care for your vehicle from our service centre, will help you to enjoy uninterrupted Warranty Coverage.
  • Your vehicle must be sent to a nominated service agent who is nominated by Pioneer Vehicle Importers Association of Lanka for the technical inspection and first service within 07 working days from the date of purchasing or before the completion of 1,000km.
  • The Warranty Mileage will be based on the odometer reading. If the odometer is damaged or broken remaining Warranty will be calculated according to time (205km per day)
  • Once the customer privileges to obtain the ‘Pioneer Warranty’, he/she bonds to act according as per the aforesaid terms and conditions. In the case, customer will be reluctant to do so, the warranty will be automatically terminated with a Warranty Termination Notice.
